- General
- Avenger PC Repairs and all associated webpages is owned by IT AND BEYOND LTD, a company registered in England (company number 14376823) with a trading office at 13-15 Winnington Street, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 1AQ.
- You are customer of PC Repairs and these are the Terms and Conditions of sale (“the Terms”) that apply to transactions between you and us.
- The Contract is the contract between us and you for the sale or service completed by us and purchase by you of the Product or Service in accordance with these Terms. By purchasing any products from us (“Product”) or have a service from us (“Service”) and by using the Site you acknowledge that you have read and you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and that they supersede any alternative or previously used terms of supply.
- A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.
- In these Terms, the following rules apply:
- A person includes a natural person, corporate or unincorporated body (whether or not having separate legal personality).
- A reference to a party includes its personal representatives, successors or permitted assigns.
- A reference to a statute or statutory provision is a reference to such statute or provision as amended or re-enacted. A reference to a statute or statutory provision includes any subordinate legislation made under that statute or statutory provision, as amended or re-enacted.
- Any phrase introduced by the Terms including, include, in particular or any similar expression shall be construed as illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words preceding those Terms.
- A reference to writing or written includes faxes and emails.
- You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by us or on our behalf which is not set out in the Contract. Any representations about the Products or Services shall have no effect unless expressly agreed in writing and signed by one of our authorised representatives.
- Purchases
- All purchases are final on either written or verbal confirmation.
- We may ask for a 50% deposit, if you are taking the equipment away from our office, or if the orders are over £1,000.
- We do sell refurbished equipment, this will come with a 6month warranty, unless otherwise stated. The condition of these items varies and should be checked before leaving our office. Sometimes, there will be scratches and noticable wear on the outer casing, but all internal parts are checked.
- All purchases are final.
- With all purchases we will recommend our no obligation, Avenger packages for any assistance in the future.
- Defective Products and Warranty
- Where we are not the manufacturer of the Products, we will endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given to us in relation to the Products.
- Any warranty on products will be discussed at the time of purchase. All items are covered with a minimum of 28days from the date of purchase (not the date of collection).
- Warranty only extends to parts (hardware) this does not cover data or software.
- Data and liability
- Always take regular backups of your data.
- Before bringing into the office, you should ensure a backup has been taken.
- We will take every precaution not to lose any data. But will not be held responsible for any data lost while the equipment is in for repair.
- If your HDD is in for data recovery, we sometimes have to send these off to a 3rd party via DPD courier. We will not be held responsible for any loss of these drives or non-recovery of the data.
- Loan Equipment
- In some circumstances we may loan a laptop or a PC while we complete a repair.
- This equipment has our monitoring software on, and you agree that this equipment will be looked after and only used in a manner it was intended for.
- By loaning the equipment you agree that you will not use for any illegal activities.
